Hi Dad,
Even though I only knew you for a few years, I think of you often. I see reflections of your face when I look in the mirror. I recently got in contact with my half-brother Victor, who I lost contact with after your funeral. I was surprised to find we don’t look much alike, and we have had totally different lives and situations.
He wants to become a tattoo artist just like you. I am also following my artistic dreams, and am going to be a junior in college this Fall. I am getting really good and think I can make a great career for myself. I work hard every day, and I hope you are watching.
There are so many things I want to talk about and ask you, but I know it isn’t possible. All I can do is keep you in my thoughts. I am going to try to get my hands on a picture of you soon.
I love you,
Clare
