Dear Papa Marvin–
You were at once a wonderful, warm, loving man, and at the same time, a mystery wrapped in the past you never talked about. Going through your home and it’s lifetimes of memories with my father was both the most amazing and the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.
I hope you have found your joyful afterlife–wherever you might be. Know that you are desperately missed by all who loved you. It’s going to be hard seeing your home go to someone else, to never get to see your smile light up your rugged face or see another plant you’ve nurtured blossom under your care.
