Little Introduction

Em hotep!

You can call me Theo! I’m in my 20s and living in Atlantic Canada. I don’t remember exactly how long I’ve been practicing Kemeticism for, but I was brought in on the great wings of Heru. I have drifted around over time, but He always calls me back home.

I’ve been interested in joining the House for a few years, feeling that the structure and community would suit me better than solitary practice, but the time never felt right. This year, however, the Netjeru have really been urging me to stop deliberating and start doing, so I finally decided to sign up for the Beginner’s Class. I’m super excited to be here and to see where this takes me!

Em hotep and welcome Theo!

If it makes you feel better, I found the kemet.org and netjer.org over a year before I took my beginner’s course. I read a lot both in books and online, and waited till the time felt right. Everything has its time, and sometimes waiting is important. But we are glad you have decided to dive in with us!

Hello from the other side of Canada!:canada: It’s interesting because I felt the same way. I’ve known about this class for a bit and this year I felt Bast was really urging me to join.

Em hotep and welcome! I’m in Nova Scotia  I joined many years ago now, but also practised alone for a few years before joining.

Hello Theo! Timing seems to be a recurring theme for so many of us. I agree, the structure feels like it will be beneficial. Looking forward to learning with you!
