Hello!

My name is Andrew, and I’m new here, very excited to be here!

I’ve been practicing Kemetic paganism for a few years now, and I feel that I need more community and more structure in my spiritual life, and that led me to search the web and eventually find yall :slight_smile:

My patron deity is Djehuty, and I also work with and worship Hathor and Heru. I’ve also given offerings to Inpu, Wesir, and many of the Netjeru. I’m a big fan of devotional work, and I’m learning to write in hieroglyphics. I enjoy a bit of Tarot from time to time as well.

Other fun facts about me - I live in Florida, I have a pet lizard, and I’m a graduate student.

I’m studying to be a counselor, a therapist, my master’s degree will be in clinical mental health counseling.

That’s an amazing field to be in, but not easy, so much respect to you. I am starting grad school in the fall myself, so I am busy prepping all the stuff that I need to do that!

Thank you! It’s definitely not the easiest or best paying field but it’s very rewarding and I can’t imagine myself doing anything else.

What will you be studying? That’s so exciting

I will be studying museum anthropology, but will also be including courses in museum education and regular anthropology. Like you said, not the best paying career to be headed into, but educating the public is my true love :smiley:
