Intro

Hello everyone! I’m really excited to be here! I currently live in the United States (more specifically, Utah). I was born into a Roman Catholic family. Roman Catholicism never spoke to me personally though, and since I can remember, I have been exploring other religions and spiritual practices. Kemetic Orthodoxy caught my eye due to my love for Ancient Egypt. For some reason, I’ve always felt connected to Ancient Egypt. I am open to learning and growing with this community of like-minded people. I look forward to getting to know everyone else!

Em Hotep and welcome! I hope you enjoy learning through the course and through all the wonderful people here!

Em Hotep, and thank you! I’m enjoying learning through the course! However, I didn’t attend either chat this past week because I was out of town :frowning: I’ll be joining the next chat or 2 for sure though! I’m so excited to get to meet everyone both in the chats and through this forum!

Senebty!

Em hotep and welcome! I hope you’re enjoying the beginners class!

Like yourself, I’d always had a pull towards Ancient Egypt as well, but it never really clicked until I learnt about this place.

Em hotep,

Thank you so much! It’s a pleasure to be here!

Em hotep Temi,

I am, thank you for asking!

Yes <3 Is it possible that we have a pull to Ancient Egypt due to one of our past lives possibly being lived in Ancient Egypt? Does Kemetic Orthodoxy believe in past lives/reincarnation?: I’m brand new to all of this, so I’m unsure if those are beliefs or not

Hello!

Iwy Em Hotep
Welcome in peace.

I hope you enjoy the beginner classes.

Today there was a class at 1 pm (chicaho time), did you participate?

Even if he missed the chats, the teachers always send emails about what was discussed in class.

I hope you are enjoying it and can find yourself on this new path.

I was also born in a Roman Catholic cradle, and I even tried to work with angeology and saints but it never caught my attention. in fact, even when I was practicing Hoodoo I didn’t like it so much, only the biblical psalms (which I still carry a huge affection for).

We are all Egypt lovers around here <3 hope you make new friends and be well.
Have a great week!

Senebty,
Heqat

Good day!

Thank you so much! I am, there’s a lot of interesting information in these lessons <3 I love learning new things

I did participate in the chat last Sunday, December 15th. My apologies for the late response; this past week was crazy! I also received the Chat Log for last week’s chat too. Do you know when the next lesson will be sent out, and when the next chat is scheduled? I didn’t receive any e-mails with Lesson 2, and when the Lesson 2 chat will be.

So far, I feel like I am finding myself on this new path  <3 I’ve tried many different religions/spiritualities, and this one rings true to me the most so far

Yes, I think the Psalms are very nice. I also enjoy the Book of Genesis and Proverbs.

That’s awesome! Yes, I hope to make new friends too. Thank you, I hope you be well too, and same to you!

Em Hotep Rev. Padjaiemweru,

Thank you for providing us with this information. I hope you have a nice upcoming weekend!

Em Hotep!

I can relate to not having a connection to the religion you were born into. I hope your holiday season has been well, and that this upcoming year is fortuitous for you!

Though I’m not affiliated with Catholicism, having been raised as a Christian, I have worked with Archangel Michael in the past - through no seeking of my own at first, he was quite persistent!

Also, I am a fan of your username

Em Hotep Bella,

It was. I hope your holiday season went well also. And thank you so much, same to you!

Oh really? That’s really cool!

Thank you! The subject of Atlantis is one of my most absolute favorite subjects to discuss. In Alternative History circles, alot of ppl believe the Ancient Egyptian gods were Atlanteans who escaped Atlantis before it sunk into the ocean. Truly fascinating stuff imo!
