You live forever and eternally,
with an offering of a thousand of bread
and a thousand of beer,
a thousand of cattle and fowl,
a thousand of alabaster and cloth,
and all good things upon which an akh might live.
You guided me as a young boy
and showed me the world of science.
You taught me to treasure the earth and her marvelous design.
Your quiet patience inspires me.
You proved that with much rubbing, every stone can shine.
