“The Hidden Female” Consort to Amen of Khemenu (GR Hermopolis), Amunet represents the hidden feminine side of Netjer; “Great Queen” to Amun’s “King of Netjeru.” [A less-mentioned feminine form of Ra, as “Rait,” is also mentioned in connection with Amunet.] Amunet was syncretised in later parts of Kemetic history with Mut and Nit.
